First Visit

Your first visit at Twin Lakes Dental typically includes a comprehensive examination, any necessary X-rays, and a detailed discussion of your treatment options. In many cases, treatment can begin on the same day as your consultation.

However, if you have a complex medical history or require a more involved treatment plan, we may schedule a separate appointment to ensure you receive the most appropriate and thorough care.

Our Gorokan practice provides a full range of general, cosmetic, and restorative dental services, delivered with a focus on comfort, clarity, and personalised care.

To help us provide the best possible care, please bring the following to your consultation:

• Any recent dental X-rays taken by a previous dentist (if available)
• A current list of medications you are taking
• Your health fund card, if you have dental insurance — this allows us to process claims quickly and efficiently

Important:
Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all appointments.

Please also inform our team ahead of your visit if you have any medical conditions that may affect your dental treatment — such as artificial heart valves or joints, a history of rheumatic fever, or if you are taking medications such as blood thinners (e.g., aspirin, warfarin) or osteoporosis medications/injections.
